Message Been working on getting my personal Z up and going. Lots of headwork has been done and only waiting on intake valves at this point (Thanks Kyle at SGP for getting me hooked up with the valves!)

The shortblock is finished and just waiting for the heads to be assembled and installed.

I installed the FMIC today as well as installed the water injection reservoir and connected the low fluid level indicator. This reservoir is from a 2+2 Z32 and comes with an integrated fluid level sensor. Apparently when Nissan designed the body harness for these cars, they used the same harness for the 2+2 and the 2+0 seaters as the body harness has a connector in the front right intercooler area for the low fluid level indicator. All you have to do is connect it in and your OEM dash light will come on whenever either the back or the front reservoir is empty. Keep the rear reservoir full and anytime the light turns on it is easy to determine which is empty. Another nice thing is the OEM reservoir bolts right into a 2+0 chassis - when Nissan manufactures the unibody, they apparently drill the holes as well as put blind nuts into the chassis, although they aren't used in the 2+0 chassis. Obviously this makes for very easy bolt-in installation of the reservoir. Here's a pic of the install:
The FMIC has been installed - brackets were built to attach to the framing rails of the unibody and the support to the intercooler is rubber insulated. There is an additional aluminum support bar under the intercooler as well.
Installed radiator.
Engine bay - ready to go.
Undercarriage was stripped of the rubberized undercoating that always turns to messy goop over the years. A new material, Herculiner, available at Auto-Zone, was used to coat the undercarriage. This material is a urethane polymer with ground-up rubber suspended in the mix - hard as nails and this stuff isn't coming off or breaking down. The entire undercarriage of the car was stripped and coated with 2 cans of this stuff.
And the flying Z in hover! Note the high-temperature exhaust plume of the turbines radiating from underneath the car! ;-)
